Qualifications: - 1–2 years professional experience (exceptional candidates outside range welcome) - Strong CS foundation: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, networking - Proficiency in Rust, Python, C++, Go, or Java with OOP and systems-level concepts - Backend web development: APIs, services, networking, Linux, command line, debugging - Concurrency and async programming: threads, event loops, sockets, connection handling - SQL/NoSQL, messaging systems, containers, CI/CD, and code review - Curiosity about digital asset markets, crypto exchanges, and trading - Nice to have: Rust experience, real-time data APIs, time series DBs, open-source work
