1. About these terms

Carrerlift (www.carrerlift.in) helps students in India find internships and jobs, research internships with professors, and HR contacts at companies. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Carrerlift.

2. What Carrerlift is — and isn't

• Carrerlift is free for students. We collect openings from company websites, public hiring channels and recruiters who post with us.
• We are not the employer and not a placement agency. We don’t promise that a listing is accurate, still open, or that you will be selected.
• Always check a job on the company’s own website before you share personal documents. Never pay anyone for a job or internship you found here — a real employer doesn’t ask for a fee. If a listing asks for money, tell us at contactcarrerlift@gmail.com.

3. Your account

You can browse without an account; some features need you to sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure, and keep the details in your profile true. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. For recruiters

• Post only real openings that you are allowed to hire for, at the company you name.
• Don’t charge candidates any fee, and don’t post anything misleading, unlawful or discriminatory.
• We review recruiter accounts before they can post, and we can reject an account or take a listing down at any time. You are responsible for your listings and for how you treat applicants.

5. Professor and HR contacts

The research and HR lists are there so you can reach out one person at a time, professionally. Don’t send bulk or automated emails or messages, don’t copy the lists out of Carrerlift, and don’t sell or publish them elsewhere. If you are listed and want to be removed, email contactcarrerlift@gmail.com and we will take the entry down.

6. Using the site fairly

• No scraping, crawling or bulk downloading of listings or contacts.
• No attempts to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the website.
• Don’t upload someone else’s résumé or personal details without their consent.

7. AI features

Match scores, skill-gap reports, profile autofill and email drafts are produced automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as suggestions: read and edit anything before you rely on it or send it.

8. What you add

Your résumé, profile and job posts stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only as needed to run the features you use — how is explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Other websites

Listings link to company pages, application forms, LinkedIn and email. Those are run by others, and their own terms apply there.

10. No guarantees

Carrerlift is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the website, from a listing, or from dealing with an employer, recruiter or contact you found through it.

11. Suspension

We can limit or close access for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses Carrerlift.

12. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using the website after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
