Data Analyst (Software)

About this role

Batch: 2025/2026/2027. Requirements: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an Indian university. - Experience with SQL - writing queries, understanding data models, working with analytical datasets; coursework or personal projects count. - Familiarity with Python for data work; classroom or project experience is fine. - Eagerness to learn and actively use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) as part of your day-to-day workflow. This is a core expectation, not a nice-to-have. - Curiosity about how businesses work - you want to understand why a metric is defined a certain way, not just how to query it. - Ability to communicate progress proactively, ask good questions, and document your work clearly. - Self-starter mindset - you take initiative, seek feedback, and iterate quickly with moderate guidance. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship or project experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, and/or business intelligence. - Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, or dbt in any environment (coursework, personal project, or prior role). - Exposure to data modeling concepts or BI tools (Tableau or similar).
