Bring Intelligence Center X to life for leading companies, through business-relevant enterprise agentic AI use cases.
Intelligence Center X (ICX) is Siemens' industrial AI platform. ICX combines Siemens' own core graph, ontology, machine learning and agentic AI technology with our industrial software foundations to bring truly differentiated capabilities to market. It connects a company's enterprise and operational data into an enterprise ontology, and uses machine learning and agentic AI to reason over it and act on it.
Our customers are leaders in automotive, aerospace and defense, semiconductors and electronics, industrial machinery, pharma and financial services.
Beyond typical demos, we work forward-deployed with the customer — on relevant data, against their problem — and build a working agentic AI solution, grounded in an enterprise ontology. It is how we establish value with customers: where they see the use case come to life, and where we earn the right to move forward.
As an ICX Engineer, you lead the ideation and creation of these engagements. This is a presales FDE role: you take a business problem and a complex data landscape, model the domain as an enterprise ontology, build agents and machine learning that reason over it and act on it, and deliver a working agentic application with a business case compelling the customer to invest in Intelligence Center X with Siemens.
You work alongside sales teams and strategic partners, and report to the ICX Engineering Manager for the Americas.
An industrial manufacturer wants its engineers to answer in minutes a question that today takes weeks of chasing across teams: what does this change affect? The answer is spread across a dozen systems that each describe the same products, parts and suppliers differently. You connect them, model how they fit together as an enterprise ontology, build an agent that reasons over the result, and show the customer what it is worth with a compelling agentic user experience.
We look for experience or strong potential in the following areas.
We hire across levels, from recent graduates to experienced data and AI professionals, with no minimum years of experience. What matters is evidence that you build, and the drive to do it with customers.
Some travel is expected, up to 25%. For people who want to spend even more time on site with customers, there is room for it.
At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. Together, 30,000 people across more than 200 countries build technology that shapes the real world. You'll grow through real projects, strong technical peers, and global mobility, backed by the scale and benefits of an industrial software leader. We're committed to equality and inclusion, and we hire based on merit, skills, and impact. Bring your curiosity and creativity and help us shape tomorrow!
The total cash compensation range for this position is €85,100 to €215,700 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
