Create an impact by shaping the world of education!

Amplify is seeking a motivated and technically driven Software Engineering Intern to join our team this summer and help us build robust, scalable, and innovative digital experiences for the educators, students, and families who use our cutting-edge educational products. This paid, remote 10-week internship offers the chance to make a real impact on products used by millions of students and teachers.

If you're comfortable with software development, problem-solving, and coding best practices, and you're genuinely curious about how technology can transform learning outcomes, this could be a perfect fit for you. The ideal candidates will love building clean, efficient, and impactful software, bring an eager, collaborative energy to your work, and feel excited to contribute to the engineering systems and product features that power K–12 learning at scale.

Though remote, interns will join a 2-day in-person experience at Amplify HQ in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout the program, interns will engage with Amplify's culture via product demos, team-building activities, and engagement initiatives, plus grow through a virtual speaker series featuring Amplify executives, additional product demos, and dedicated mentorship.

While our summer intern roles are remote positions, interns must be authorized to work in the US, reside in the US for the internship's duration, and be available full-time for the entire program, June 7 – August 13, 2027.

Contribute to technical documentation, engineering wikis, API specifications, and internal developer resources
Track and resolve issues in project management and version control systems to support sprint goals and release timelines
Participate in product demos, sprint ceremonies, and Engineering/Product Manager meetings to build knowledge of Amplify's technology stack and development practices

What we can offer you:

Direct exposure to software engineering tools, frameworks, and best practices used in EdTech
Real-world engineering challenges that affect educators, students, and families
Collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Design teams across the organization
Contributions to meaningful feature development and product improvements in a mission-driven environment
