Software Engineer

About this role

About the role: - Build backend services and applications that power industrial automation and smart manufacturing systems - Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services into our platform - Write clean, maintainable code following object-oriented design principles - Debug complex technical issues and optimize application performance - Work with relational databases to design schemas and write efficient queries - Collaborate with the team using version control and Git workflows What you'll work on: - Backend development with Python and Java across multiple projects - API design and integration with JSON data handling - Database work including SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL - Handling concurrent operations through multithreading and asynchronous programming patterns - Network communication using TCP/IP and socket programming - Frontend or desktop UI development as needed - Building data visualization and dashboard features - Software testing, quality assurance, and debugging - Linux command-line tasks and server-side operations What we're looking for: - Strong grasp of programming fundamentals and object-oriented principles - Proficiency in Python for application development and scripting - Knowledge of Java and OOP in practical applications - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and logical problem-solving - Familiarity with functions, classes, modules, exception handling, and file I/O - Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts - Understanding of REST APIs and JSON processing - Experience with Git or equivalent version control tools - Sharp analytical mindset with strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities - Skill in converting technical requirements into well-structured code solutions - Passion for industrial automation, machine vision, AI-driven inspection, and smart manufacturing technologies
