Python Backend Developer Intern (+PPO)

About the role: - Build and maintain backend services and APIs that power web applications - Work with database systems to design and optimize data storage and retrieval - Develop RESTful endpoints and integrate various services together - Contribute to the full lifecycle of backend features from design through deployment - Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the broader engineering team What you'll work with: - Python for server-side development - Django or FastAPI frameworks for building web applications - Relational and non-relational databases - API design and implementation - Version control and development workflows What helps: - Strong foundation in backend development principles and practices - Experience or familiarity with Python ecosystem and frameworks - Understanding of how APIs and databases interact - Problem-solving mindset and attention to code quality - Up to 1 year of prior experience About the opportunity: - Internship with potential for permanent offer - Stipend determined based on your experience level and performance on a skill assessment
