About the role: - Conduct fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies by examining financial statements, industry dynamics and competitive positioning - Support the research team in building investment theses and equity valuations - Track market trends and corporate announcements relevant to portfolio holdings - Assist in preparing research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders What you'll work on: - Deep dives into quarterly and annual financial results to assess company performance - Comparative analysis of businesses within specific sectors - Building financial models to forecast earnings and cash flows - Documenting investment ideas and monitoring thesis development over time What we're looking for: - Genuine enthusiasm for equity markets and understanding how businesses operate - Demonstrated experience in personal stock research or investment activity - Proficiency in reading financial statements and extracting meaningful insights - Strong capacity for independent analysis and critical thinking - Intellectual curiosity that drives you to look beyond financial figures into business fundamentals - CFA certification at any level is valued as an additional qualification Good to know: - Freshers are welcome to apply - This is an internship position at Allvest Securities Pvt.
