About the role: - Support financial planning, analysis and reporting activities across Amazon's business units - Build financial models to forecast revenue, costs and profitability - Prepare presentations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders - Analyze budget versus actual performance and identify variances - Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes What you'll work on: - Gathering and validating financial data from multiple systems and sources - Creating spreadsheet-based analyses and performing variance investigations - Supporting senior analysts with ad-hoc financial requests and special projects - Learning to use financial planning tools and Amazon's internal systems What we're looking for: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large datasets - Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences - Coursework or familiarity with accounting, finance or business fundamentals
