AI Engineering Intern (+PPO)

About the role: - Develop and test novel AI models, agent systems and cutting-edge AI methodologies from concept through implementation - Engage with end users directly to identify their pain points and requirements - Translate user feedback and market needs into product direction and feature prioritization - Move experimental work through to live deployment, handling the full arc from initial idea to user-facing system - Collaborate within a team that ships working products and iterates based on real-world use What you'll work on: - Building proof-of-concepts with emerging AI techniques and frameworks - Gathering and acting on user insights to shape the product roadmap - Bridging the gap between research prototypes and production-ready code - Experimenting with new AI releases and tools as they emerge - Writing Python-based solutions that solve concrete user problems What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of Python and genuine interest in using it to build systems - Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs and integrating them into applications - A portfolio piece—a project on GitHub, a working demo, or a deployed application—that showcases your capabilities - Active engagement with new AI developments and a genuine desire to try out novel approaches - Genuine curiosity about how people use software and what problems they face - Comfort operating in uncertain conditions and navigating problems without a clear roadmap - Self-sufficiency in problem-solving and learning; you can research, debug and move forward independently Preferred experience: - FastAPI - SQL - Google ADK - LangGraph - MCP - n8n - AWS - Next.js Good to know: - This is an internship with the possibility of conversion to a full-time position (PPO)
