About this role

About the role: - Work on data science projects within a digital consulting environment at a global steel and mining company - Apply machine learning, analytics, and data-driven approaches to real business challenges - Collaborate with experienced teams to develop and deploy data solutions What you'll work on: - Building and training machine learning models using industry-standard frameworks and libraries - Performing exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling on structured datasets - Creating visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders - Writing production-ready Python and SQL code for data pipelines and analysis - Experimenting with emerging technologies including generative AI applications What we're looking for: - Degree in Computer Science, BE, B.Tech, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field - Hands-on experience through academic projects, prior internships, or self-directed work in data science, machine learning, AI, analytics, or generative AI - Working knowledge of Python, SQL, machine learning fundamentals, statistical methods, and data visualization libraries - Sharp analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities - Genuine interest in expanding your technical skills and tackling new challenges Nice to have: - Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable ML libraries
