About this role
About the role: - You will work on the development, testing, and deployment of robotic systems, bridging software simulation with physical hardware implementation - Your work will include programming industrial robots, integrating ROS/ROS 2 frameworks into robotics applications, and contributing to motion planning and navigation solutions - You'll engage with robotics simulation environments to prototype and validate solutions before real-world deployment What you'll work on: - Industrial robot programming using platforms such as KUKA, ABB, Fanuc, or Yaskawa - ROS / ROS 2 development, working with navigation stacks, MoveIt motion planning, TF transformations, and custom nodes - Robotics simulation using NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Omniverse or Gazebo to test algorithms and system behavior - Robot kinematics, dynamics modeling, trajectory planning, and coordinate system transformations - Electrical system integration including wiring, industrial I/O, sensor interfacing, calibration procedures, and industrial communication protocols What we're looking for: - Currently in your final year of study or recently graduated with a degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline - Proficiency in Python and/or C++, ideally with experience in Linux/Ubuntu environments - Demonstrated hands-on project work in robotics, whether through internships, academic coursework, laboratory experience, or personal projects - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and adapt to new challenges - Comfort working across both software development and physical hardware systems - Preferred: prior hands-on experience with industrial robot programming, ROS/ROS 2 frameworks, or robotics simulation tools
