Software Engineering Intern

About the role: - Build and enhance software features as part of Automation Anywhere's engineering team during your internship - Contribute to full-stack development work spanning both client-side and backend systems - Participate in testing activities including unit, integration, functional, and regression test execution and design - Diagnose and resolve issues by analyzing application logs and database queries - Collaborate with engineers on code reviews and quality assurance processes What you'll work on: - Front-end development using HTML, CSS, Node and related technologies - Writing and maintaining code in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript or similar languages - Database work involving query construction and log analysis for troubleshooting - Test automation and quality assurance workflows - Understanding and applying generative AI concepts to projects where relevant What we're looking for: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related AI/ML field - Solid grasp of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript - Working knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS, HTML, and Node - Familiarity with database querying techniques and log analysis for root cause investigation - Foundational understanding of Gen AI concepts - Knowledge of software testing principles across unit, integration, functional, and regression testing - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in team settings Nice to have: - Experience using version control systems like Git - Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions - Prior work with test automation frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG - Familiarity with REST API design and tools like Postman - Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
