About the role: - Design and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience across software systems - Create comprehensive test plans aligned with quality standards and requirements - Lead testing activities and mentor team members on best practices What you'll do: - Build and run both manual and automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium with Java, Cucumber, Karate, Playwright, or Cypress - Test UI and API functionality, with hands-on experience in microservices and API testing - Collaborate with developers on root cause analysis and defect resolution - Work within Agile delivery environments and participate in design discussions with cross-functional teams - Identify positive, negative, and edge-case test scenarios for comprehensive coverage - Participate in code reviews and share knowledge across the team - Take ownership of testing quality and drive continuous process improvement What they're looking for: - Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing - Experience with UI and API automation testing - Solid understanding of API and microservices testing - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Self-driven, proactive approach with strong communication abilities - Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams Good to know: - Prior experience in banking, cards, or payments domain is valued - Based in Pune - You'll be assessed on technical skills, risk and controls, change management, business acumen, and strategic thinking
