About this role
About the role: - As a founding engineer, you'll architect and maintain document-processing systems at scale, alongside building intelligent multi-agent AI infrastructure from the ground up. - You'll ship backend services and complete product features end-to-end, working directly with users to translate their needs into reliable, performant solutions. - You'll own the quality of LLM outputs through systematic debugging, rigorous evaluation, and iterative experimentation to maximize reliability. - Every system you build will prioritize production concerns: dependable execution under load, optimal resource usage, and cost awareness. What you'll work on: - Designing and implementing pipelines that process documents at scale while maintaining speed and accuracy. - Orchestrating multi-agent AI workflows, integrating LLM APIs with tool calling and reliable agent choreography. - Building backend services with proper queue management, retry logic, observability, and structured logging. - Creating features that span frontend to database, ensuring data consistency and system resilience throughout. - Partnering with customers to surface problems early and validate solutions in production. What we're looking for: - 2–5 years of software engineering experience, including substantial project work or internships that demonstrate depth. - Expert proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with practical ability to work in React and SQL. - Real-world experience integrating and debugging LLM APIs, implementing tool calling patterns, and orchestrating agent behavior. - Solid grasp of production backend patterns: asynchronous queues, error recovery, structured logging, and monitoring. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure; prior work on Google Cloud Platform is preferred. - A drive to own outcomes completely, strong analytical thinking when problems arise, and genuine focus on solving customer problems. - You must have graduated from a Tier 1 college or university in India, or from a leading international university.
