About the role: - Build full-stack web applications that connect industrial systems and devices to real-time dashboards - Design and implement React frontends with complex state management and interactive components - Develop Node.js backends that handle REST APIs, service architecture, and data flow - Work with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, build indexes, and manage migrations - Implement real-time communication using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events - Review code, defend technical choices, and participate in collaborative development practices What you'll work on: - Frontend development using TypeScript and React with production-grade state management - Backend services in Node.js that process requests and structure API endpoints - Database design and SQL optimization for performance and scalability - Real-time data synchronization between browsers and servers - Reading technical specifications, spotting incomplete requirements, and raising concerns early - Git workflows, automated testing, and code review standards - Layered application architecture that separates concerns across frontend, backend, and data layers What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering - Proven TypeScript proficiency with ability to articulate implementation decisions - Production experience building React applications with state management libraries - Hands-on Node.js work including REST APIs and service design patterns - SQL expertise spanning schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and schema migrations - Familiarity with real-time browser technologies like WebSockets or SSE - Strong grasp of layered architecture principles - Comfort with Git, testing frameworks, and code review processes - Ability to analyze specifications, identify gaps, and communicate blockers Bonus skills: - Experience with industrial protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, or Modbus - Integration with third-party device software development kits - Work on time-series databases or historian systems - PostgreSQL administration, tuning, and multi-tenant database design - Implementation of authentication, authorization, and secrets management systems - Monorepo tools like pnpm or Turborepo - Canvas libraries or drag-and-drop user interface editors - Monaco Editor, domain-specific languages, or on-premises Electron applications - Exposure to SCADA, HMI, IIoT platforms, or AI tools in production settings
