About this role

About the role: - Join Breathe ESG as a Software Development Engineer and contribute to building and sustaining dependable, scalable software solutions across the product and engineering stack. - Work on features spanning multiple layers of the platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade code. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing and deployment. What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 0–2 years of experience in software development. - Strong grasp of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. - Solid proficiency in at least one of these languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C++, or Go. - Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code that meets production standards. - Working knowledge of REST APIs, relational and non-relational databases, and the principles of backend and frontend development. - Familiarity with Git and other version control systems, along with testing and debugging practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities when faced with technical challenges. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to work effectively in team settings. - Internship experience, academic projects, or notable personal software projects are valued additions to your profile.
