Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

About the role

• You will architect and build scalable backend services using Go, handling high-traffic systems that demand robust performance and reliability.
• Your work spans designing microservices, crafting REST APIs, and managing distributed systems that serve as the backbone of our platform.
• You'll own the full lifecycle of backend features: from system design through deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• You'll optimize Go applications for concurrency and performance, leveraging goroutines, channels, and profiling to extract maximum efficiency.

What you'll work with

• Databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis for various data storage and caching needs.
• Message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ to handle asynchronous communication and event streaming.
• Container orchestration and deployment via Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to automate and scale operations.
• Monitoring and logging systems to maintain visibility into system health and debug issues in production.

What we're looking for

• Deep expertise in Go and proven track record building production backend systems at scale.
• Strong grasp of microservices patterns, distributed systems design, and REST API development.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security practices.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for message-driven architectures.
• Mastery of Git and comfortable working in collaborative, code-review-driven environments.
• Ability to lead technical conversations, guide junior team members, and drive architectural decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
