About this role
About the role: - Build and test banking and credit card features on web and mobile platforms within a scrum team - Work across the full development cycle from requirements analysis through post-release support - Develop full-stack applications using Angular and Java Spring Boot - Create and execute BDD-based automated and manual test scripts - Use AI tools like GitHub Copilot to assist with code generation and testing What you'll do: - Convert application designs into code across Angular, Java and other platforms with guidance from senior engineers - Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and acceptance criteria definition - Write secure and maintainable code, take ownership of assigned features and document them - Develop and maintain test scripts in code repositories, execute tests and record results - Perform functional validation and accessibility testing using tools like NVDA, VoiceOver and Axe - Analyze root causes for application issues and collaborate on triaging defects - Work in CI/CD environments such as Jenkins and RTC - Attend team meetings, retrospectives and process improvement workshops - Support technical checkouts during release go-live and post-production activities What they're looking for: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related STEM field, or equivalent work experience - 2–5 years of professional experience in full-stack or Angular development and/or testing - Basic knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development concepts - Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Selenium with Cucumber preferred - Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office - Self-motivated with strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with onshore and offshore teams Good to know: - Cloud-based development platforms like OpenShift experience is desirable but not required
