About this role

About the role: - Build and maintain backend systems and services that power security infrastructure - Work with experienced engineers on designing, developing, and testing scalable solutions - Contribute to the full development lifecycle from conception through deployment and monitoring - Collaborate on code reviews and participate in technical discussions to improve code quality What you'll work on: - Backend services using Node.js or Go - RESTful APIs and web service integration - Database design, SQL queries, and data modeling for both relational and NoSQL systems - Cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies - Infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines What we're looking for: - Currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - Solid programming foundation in at least one language such as Node.js or Go - Working knowledge of backend development frameworks, libraries, and common tools in the ecosystem - Understanding of web technologies, protocols, and how APIs function - Grasp of database fundamentals including SQL and relational database design - Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical approach to technical challenges - Clear communication skills and comfort working as part of a team - Self-directed learner eager to develop expertise in a fast-paced environment - Genuine interest in cybersecurity and keeping up with emerging security trends Nice to have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Hands-on work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization - Exposure to DevOps methodologies and tools including Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipeline setup - Familiarity with NoSQL databases, caching solutions, and distributed system concepts
