About the role: - Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and server infrastructure that power Cnvrted's platform - Design and implement efficient database schemas and optimize queries for performance at scale - Develop and manage asynchronous workflows, background job processing, and task queues - Handle API reliability through proper timeout configuration, retry logic, error handling, and safeguards against duplicate requests - Integrate with third-party APIs and services to extend platform capabilities - Debug and resolve production issues, then implement lasting fixes What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of backend development concepts including APIs, databases, and server-side architecture - Experience or strong knowledge of concurrent systems, asynchronous processing, and queue-based job handling - Familiarity with database optimization techniques and performance profiling - Enthusiasm for AI-powered applications and AI agent development - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think through edge cases and failure scenarios - Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team Good to know: - This is an in-person internship; you'll work at BHIVE, Indiranagar, Bangalore several days a week or as mutually agreed
