Software Engineer (AI)

About the role: - Develop and optimize machine learning algorithms and AI systems that power enterprise data management solutions - Design scalable backend services and microservices to support AI-driven features across Commvault's product suite - Write clean, maintainable code in Python, Java, or C++ to build production-grade AI applications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and infrastructure engineers - Implement end-to-end solutions from model development through deployment and monitoring What you'll work on: - Building intelligent systems for data classification, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics - Contributing to the full software development lifecycle including design, testing, and deployment - Optimizing performance and ensuring reliability of AI systems at scale - Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the engineering team What we're looking for: - Strong programming fundamentals and experience with modern software engineering practices - Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and AI development methodologies - Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in complex system design - Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work effectively in a team environment
