About the role: - You will build and refine machine learning models that power data-driven solutions - Your day-to-day work involves preparing raw data, engineering features, training models, and evaluating their performance - You will extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets - You'll collaborate with team members across functions in a dynamic setting What we're looking for: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, AI/ML, or a closely related discipline - Solid grasp of machine learning fundamentals, statistical theory, and data science methodology - Hands-on coding ability in Python, with practical experience using NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch - Clear understanding of both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and when to apply each - Hands-on experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, performance evaluation, and hyperparameter optimization - Strong grounding in statistics, probability theory, and quantitative data analysis - Working knowledge of SQL and relational or non-relational database systems - Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking across technical challenges - Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks in a fast-moving team - Familiarity with version control via Git and basic REST API design principles is preferred - Knowledge of natural language processing, deep neural networks, generative models, or large language models adds value but is not required
