Software Development Engineer – I (SDE-1)

About the role: - Build and maintain web applications across the full stack, from user interface to database architecture - Develop frontend interfaces using React.js with modern JavaScript standards - Create backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express.js, Python, or Java - Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services - Work with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB - Debug production issues and optimize application performance - Collaborate with teams to ship features and improvements to live systems What we're looking for: - 1–3 years of hands-on experience building full stack web applications - Solid grasp of both frontend and backend development patterns and technologies - Proven track record shipping production-grade applications - Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities - Familiarity with software engineering practices and code quality standards - Comfort with version control using Git and GitHub Technical skills: - Frontend development in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, HTML5, and CSS3 - Backend programming in Node.js, Express.js, Python, or Java - Database design and queries with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB - Data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and database management systems - RESTful API design and integration Bonus experience: - AWS or cloud deployment - Docker containerization - CI/CD pipelines - Microservices architecture - Redis caching
