About the role: - Build and refine vehicle search functionality within a live Android application - Implement offline record download capabilities to enhance user experience when connectivity is limited - Manage data synchronization between local storage and backend systems - Integrate Maps functionality into app features - Design and execute login flows alongside device verification mechanisms - Address and resolve UI issues across the application - Optimize performance when handling large local datasets - Test applications directly on physical devices to catch real-world bugs - Maintain and manage multiple branded variants of the same app - Handle version code assignment and management across releases - Generate signed APKs and Android App Bundles ready for distribution - Diagnose and resolve issues reported by end users in production - Own features from initial implementation through quality assurance and final release What you'll need: - Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development - Strong grasp of Jetpack Compose for building user interfaces - Working knowledge of ViewModels and coroutines for managing app state and asynchronous operations - Ability to integrate REST APIs into Android applications - Solid understanding of Android lifecycle concepts and how they affect app behavior - Familiarity with Room database, WorkManager, location services, or offline data storage patterns is a plus What you'll learn: - How production Android applications are built and maintained in a real environment - Techniques for managing multiple branded app variants from a single codebase - Version code management practices and release workflows - The complete process of preparing signed APKs and Android App Bundles for app store distribution Note: Include resume, availability and links to Android projects or GitHub profile in email.
