Software Engineer Intern

About the role: - Build and deploy software features rapidly, with a focus on shipping functional work and iterating based on feedback - Collaborate with engineers to solve technical challenges using modern development practices - Work on backend systems and application architecture as part of the development cycle - Leverage AI coding assistants and large language models to increase productivity and reduce time spent on routine tasks What we're looking for: - B.Tech or B.E. degree from an IIT - Proficiency in Java and/or Python with demonstrable coding ability - Experience using Cursor, Claude, or comparable AI-assisted development tools - Capability to apply AI effectively for problem-solving and accelerated feature development - Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and engineering problem-solving - A builder's mindset—enthusiasm for creating projects and delivering results quickly - Portfolio evidence such as open-source contributions, side projects, GitHub work, or technical experiments that show your initiative and technical depth - Self-motivated learner who picks up unfamiliar frameworks and tools without extensive guidance Additional strengths we value: - Hands-on work with AI APIs or LLM integration in your own projects - Experience automating engineering workflows or repetitive development tasks with AI - Participation in open-source development or collaborative coding projects - Prior work on backend infrastructure, distributed systems, or applications designed to scale
