About this role
About the role: - Create and run test automation code in Java and Selenium to verify application behavior across different scenarios. - Execute functional, regression, and smoke test suites to catch defects before release. - Write and optimize SQL queries to check the correctness and integrity of data in backends and databases. - Document, categorize, and follow up on bugs found during testing across the development lifecycle. - Work closely with development teams and quality assurance colleagues using Agile practices and sprint-based workflows. What we're looking for: - Hands-on expertise in Core Java programming and Selenium WebDriver for test automation. - Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL to query and validate database operations. - Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing lifecycle (STLC), and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Strong capacity for logical thinking, breaking down complex problems, and communicating findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Good to know: - This is a full-time position based in the Noida office. - You will work five days per week on-site.
