About this role

About the role: - Develop and maintain a mobile app as part of a computer-vision platform for an edible oil, soap, and soya meal manufacturing business - The app integrates with industrial cameras, edge AI servers, a central verification service, and a web dashboard to track production and validate shipments - You will work on features that count output, confirm dispatches against ERP orders at facility exits and loading areas, and trigger safety notifications - Your code must handle real factory environments with challenging conditions: damaged packaging, visually similar products, shrink-wrapped loads, high-speed conveyors, dim lighting, and spotty network connectivity What you'll work on: - Building app interfaces that operators and supervisors use to monitor the platform in live production settings - Writing backend logic that communicates reliably over unreliable networks typical of factory floors - Integrating with edge servers and central services to ensure dispatch verification runs smoothly - Handling edge cases where product recognition is difficult due to poor conditions or worn packaging - Testing thoroughly in actual factory conditions to find and fix real-world issues before they affect operations What we're looking for: - Experience building mobile applications for industrial or enterprise use - Familiarity with systems that must work in harsh physical environments with unreliable infrastructure - Ability to write robust code that degrades gracefully when networks are slow or intermittent - Understanding of how factory operations, ERP systems, and supply chain processes work together Note: Use the role name in the email subject. Send resume and links to relevant projects, GitHub, or published apps.
