About this role

About the role: - Test a computer-vision system built for a major edible oil, soap, and soya meal producer that monitors production output, validates shipments against ERP records at facility gates and loading areas, and generates safety warnings - Verify functionality across industrial cameras, edge AI servers, backend verification services, web dashboards, and mobile applications - Work with the platform in genuine factory settings to ensure it performs reliably under real-world constraints What you'll test: - System accuracy in counting and tracking production in fast-moving, high-volume environments - Dispatch verification workflows against live ERP data at exit points and dock areas - Safety alert generation and escalation paths - Camera feeds and image processing under poor lighting and difficult visibility conditions - Edge server performance and local processing reliability - Mobile app usability and data synchronization - Web dashboard reporting and real-time data display Working conditions: - On-site testing in active factory environments during production - Conditions include degraded packaging, visually similar product SKUs, wrapped and stacked pallets, high-speed conveyor systems, inconsistent lighting, and unstable network connectivity - Problem-solving in challenging, uncontrolled settings rather than controlled lab scenarios What this demands: - Ability to identify and document issues that arise from real industrial conditions, not just theoretical edge cases - Attention to how the system behaves when lighting fails, network drops, or product appearance varies - Communication skills to work with factory teams and engineers in a production setting Note: Use the role name in the email subject. Send resume and links to relevant projects, GitHub, or published apps.
