QA Engineer

About the role: - You will be responsible for designing, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases across web and mobile applications - Your work involves identifying bugs, inconsistencies and performance issues through manual and automated testing methodologies - You'll collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure software quality meets business requirements before release What you'll work on: - Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of test scenarios and test results - Performing regression testing, functional testing and exploratory testing on new features and updates - Building and enhancing automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage - Investigating and reporting defects with clear reproduction steps and severity levels What we're looking for: - A minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in QA and software testing - Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and QA best practices - Proficiency with testing tools, automation frameworks and bug tracking systems - Excellent attention to detail and ability to think critically about edge cases and user scenarios - Good communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate with technical teams Good to know: - This is a full-time position based in Bangalore - The role requires 5 days per week in the office
