About the role: - Develop and maintain software systems that power interactive entertainment experiences - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, artists and producers to implement features and gameplay mechanics - Write clean, efficient code following established engineering standards and best practices - Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and technical architecture - Debug and optimize performance across different platforms and hardware configurations - Integrate with existing game engines and development frameworks to bring creative vision to life What we're looking for: - Strong foundation in software development principles and object-oriented programming - Experience with C++, C# or other relevant programming languages used in game development - Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows - Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to work through complex technical challenges - Communication skills to work effectively within development teams and articulate technical concepts - Passion for games and understanding of how software engineering impacts player experience Good to know: - For the full job description and requirements, visit https://jobs.ea.com/en_US/careers/JobDetail/Software-Engineer-II/214253
