UI/UX Design - Intern

About the role: - Partner with cross-functional teams to design engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications - Transform concepts into wireframes and interactive prototypes that guide development - Contribute design solutions across the full lifecycle from discovery through handoff to engineering - Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing, and usability insights What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of core UI/UX design fundamentals including layout, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy - Working proficiency in at least one of Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch - Demonstrated ability to create wireframes and functional prototypes - Portfolio that reflects academic coursework, personal projects, or both - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate design decisions with clarity - Collaborative mindset and comfort receiving and acting on critique Bonus qualifications: - Experience designing for mobile applications or SaaS platforms - Knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and usability best practices - Familiarity with HTML and CSS fundamentals - Curiosity about user behaviour and how design choices affect product outcomes
