AI Product Engineer

About the role: - Design and build AI-powered product features that serve users directly, combining software engineering rigor with emerging AI capabilities - Translate business and product requirements into well-architected, robust features powered by large language models and generative AI - Develop both frontend and backend components that enable AI functionality to work smoothly within applications - Bridge the gap between AI research and practical product implementation What you'll work on: - Creating user-facing applications and interfaces that leverage AI and LLM capabilities - Building and maintaining APIs that connect frontend applications to AI models and backend services - Designing and optimizing database solutions to support AI features at scale - Implementing and refining prompt engineering strategies to achieve desired model behavior - Integrating third-party AI services and managing AI workflows within product systems What we're looking for: - Demonstrated expertise in writing production-grade code across multiple programming languages - Solid understanding of how frontend and backend systems communicate and interact - Hands-on experience with REST APIs, database design, and data modeling - Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering techniques, and how to build with them - Ability to think through product requirements and design AI solutions that are reliable and genuinely useful to end users
