SDE Intern (Backend)

About this role

Batch: 2025/2026. Requirements: - Must have written code that ran in production for a real product with real users and be able to discuss it in detail - Strong backend fundamentals including APIs, databases, data modelling, and integrations - Ability to debug systems you did not write - Comfortable working inside an existing codebase rather than only greenfield projects - Experience owning execution end-to-end on at least one project - Ability to ship products that are used by people outside your team - Enjoy integration-heavy backend work and making systems communicate with each other - Interest in hands-on exposure to AI-driven operations - Value clarity, accountability, and real output Preferred Skills: - Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude or similar tools - Experience building agents, MCPs, or automation with code - Comfortable with Python, SQL, and AI tools Note: Subject line must be exactly: AI SDE | <Your Name>.
