About this role
About the role: - FAFF is hiring a Senior Applied AI Engineer to build production-grade AI agents in Bangalore. - The role is focused on solving hard, ambiguous real-world problems rather than only applying surface-level GenAI techniques. - FAFF is a consumer-tech company building a human + AI personal assistant that helps users delegate everyday tasks. - The position follows a 6-day work-from-office setup. What we're looking for: - Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related engineering role. - Current or previous experience at a product-based company is required. - Strong hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML systems is expected. - Applicants should have built AI agents, agentic workflows, tool-calling systems or similar applications. - Strong understanding of LLMs and their use in production is required. - Strong programming skills are expected, with Python preferred. - Candidates should be able to take ambiguous problems, investigate them deeply and implement effective solutions. - Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, evaluation, prompt engineering or model integration is relevant. - Strong problem-solving and debugging ability is required. - Candidates with only surface-level exposure to GenAI, LLMs or agents are not considered a strong fit. Interview process: - The process includes Introductory Screening, Technical Interview, AI Problem-Solving Round, Hiring Manager Round and Founder Round. - ClanX is supporting FAFF as the recruitment partner for this AI Engineer opening.
