About the role: - Serve as a founding software engineer intern on FERMOR's early-stage team, helping shape the technical direction of a growing startup - Build and iterate on real products from conception through deployment, working across the full technology stack - Take on technical challenges independently, diving into problems and finding solutions without needing constant guidance - Collaborate closely with the founding team in a hands-on environment where your contributions directly impact the company's growth How you'll work: - Join a hybrid setup: spend most days working remotely, with one in-person session each week to align with the team - Base yourself in Bengaluru or arrange to be there weekly for on-site collaboration What we're looking for: - Genuine enthusiasm for building products that real users will interact with - Comfort working across frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure—you're not looking to specialize in just one area yet - Self-directed approach to tackling problems: you identify what needs to be done and push through blockers - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a small founding group in a high-trust, collaborative setting Additional information: - This role offers a potential pre-placement offer (PPO) pathway
