About this role
About the role: - Architect and implement AI applications, agents, tools, and features ready for production environments. - Collaborate directly with end users and internal product teams to define problem scope and requirements. - Prototype solutions and validate their viability through testing and iteration. - Scale validated prototypes into robust, production-grade systems. - Make informed decisions about when pragmatic implementations suffice versus when comprehensive engineering is warranted. What you'll work on: - Full lifecycle development of AI-powered features from conception through deployment. - Integration with large language model APIs and modern agent frameworks to build intelligent applications. - Database design and optimization using PostgreSQL to support AI workflows. - Backend development using Python and Django to power AI product capabilities. What we're looking for: - Proven track record of building and releasing AI applications into production. - Hands-on experience developing with AI agents or AI-powered tools. - Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and execute with minimal supervision. - Working knowledge of Python, Django, PostgreSQL, LLM APIs, and agent frameworks. - Strong judgment about technical trade-offs and scalability requirements.
