About this role
About the role: - This is a full-time position within the AI and Data Science team. - The role is based in Bengaluru and is open to candidates with 0–1 years of experience. - The work focuses on building machine-learning and AI capabilities for FirstHive's CDP platform. What you'll work on: - Develop ML models for customer segmentation and entity resolution. - Build models addressing churn and conversion use cases. - Work on recommendation systems for the platform. - Develop LLM-powered features using prompting techniques, embeddings and RAG. - Write SQL for feature engineering and analytical workflows. - Build model-serving APIs using FastAPI. - Support deployment and ongoing monitoring of ML models. - Collaborate with data engineers to create dependable data and machine-learning pipelines. What we're looking for: - Strong Python programming skills are required. - Candidates should be comfortable with Pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn. - A good understanding of core machine-learning concepts and SQL is expected. - Basic familiarity with LLM APIs, embeddings and REST APIs is required. - Applicants should know Git and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn. - Academic ML projects, internships, Kaggle work or GitHub machine-learning projects are considered a plus. - Eligible qualifications include B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
