Backend Executive – Air Ticketing

About the role: - You will develop and maintain backend systems that power the air ticketing operations, handling booking flows, reservation processing, and integration with global distribution systems - Your work involves building APIs, database structures, and microservices that support real-time flight searches, fare calculations, and ticket issuance - You will troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and ensure the ticketing platform operates reliably across peak travel seasons What you'll work on: - Backend development for an aviation ticketing platform using modern frameworks and tools - Integration with GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and third-party aviation data providers - Database design and optimization for high-volume transaction processing - API development to support frontend ticketing interfaces and customer-facing features What we're looking for: - Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience - Basic familiarity with air ticketing concepts or GDS systems - Background in aviation institutes or formal aviation and ticketing courses - Willingness to work rotating shifts and night shifts as required by operations - Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in handling transactional systems Good to know: - This is a full-time position ideal for early-career developers entering the aviation technology sector - Exposure to ticketing workflows will deepen your understanding of the travel industry - Night shift rotations are part of the role to maintain 24/7 platform availability Note: Also available to apply via WhatsApp: 9289971893
