SDE-1 Android

About this role

Batch: 2022/2023/2024. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in Android development, building and shipping applications. - BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong software development skills in Kotlin. - Working experience with Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, and Hilt-based dependency injection. - Good understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle, Coroutines, modern UI development, and StateFlow/Flow-based state management. - Ability to read and understand existing code before making changes. - Working knowledge of Git and code-review practices. - Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend service integration. - Comfort using LLM-assisted development tools or strong eagerness to adopt them. - Fast learner comfortable with ambiguity and taking ownership of problems. - Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM). - Experience working in a large, multi-module Android codebase. - Experience with Flutter or other cross-platform development. - Experience developing and publishing apps on the Google Play Store. - Experience working in a startup environment.
