About the role: - Build and maintain backend systems, APIs, and database solutions that power Flyo's platform - Write clean, optimized code while debugging issues and improving application performance - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to ship features in a dynamic setting What you'll work on: - REST API design and implementation - Database architecture and management - Code reviews and collaborative development using Git and GitHub - Problem-solving across the full software development lifecycle What we're looking for: - 1+ years of hands-on software development experience or equivalent project work - Strong command of JavaScript, TypeScript, or another programming language - Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles - Proven experience building backend systems, designing APIs, and working with databases - Familiarity with version control, debugging techniques, and performance optimization - Knowledge of clean code principles and established software development practices - Sharp analytical and problem-solving mindset - Comfort working in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced environment
