About the role: - Build and maintain enterprise Java applications using industry-standard frameworks and cloud-native technologies - Design and implement REST APIs and microservices that scale across distributed systems - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust software solutions - Contribute to the architecture and performance optimization of high-availability SaaS platforms What you'll work on: - Java/J2EE application development using Spring Framework and Spring Boot - Microservices architecture and REST API design - Database design and optimization with MySQL and SQL - Caching solutions using Redis or Valkey - Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS - CI/CD pipeline implementation and modern deployment practices - Message queue integration with Kafka or RabbitMQ - Legacy technology stacks including Struts, JSP, and Servlets on Apache Tomcat What we're looking for: - 3–5 years of professional experience developing Java and J2EE applications - Deep expertise in Core Java fundamentals: Object-Oriented Programming, Collections, Multithreading, and Java 8+ features - Proven hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot in production environments - Strong knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture - Database expertise including MySQL, SQL optimization, and JPA/Hibernate frameworks - Practical experience with caching technologies such as Redis or Valkey - Proficiency with build tools Maven or Gradle, version control Git, and testing frameworks like JUnit - Competency with AWS cloud services - Experience containerizing and orchestrating applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS - Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools and modern software delivery methodologies - Background working with asynchronous messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ - Experience building or maintaining SaaS platforms or high-availability systems - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent debugging skills - Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative engineering culture
