About this role
About the role: - This is a remote Software Engineer opportunity focused on Python and SQL development. - Candidates should have 5+ years of professional experience. - The engagement is initially for 3 months and may be extended. - The working shift is 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST. What you'll work with: - Use Python for application and backend development. - Work extensively with SQL and relational databases. - Build or support services running on AWS. - Develop and integrate REST APIs. - Work with microservices-based architectures. - Use AWS EventBridge as part of event-driven systems. - Work with SNS and SQS for messaging and asynchronous workflows. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitHub Actions. What we're looking for: - Strong hands-on software development experience is required. - Candidates should be comfortable troubleshooting issues in production environments. - Practical experience with Python, SQL, AWS, REST APIs and microservices is mandatory. - Knowledge of EventBridge, SNS/SQS and relational databases is required. - Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices is expected. - Candidates should also have experience using AI-assisted or agentic programming approaches in development workflows.
