About the role
- You will develop and maintain backend systems and services using Python as your primary language
- Your work involves designing scalable solutions that handle data processing, storage, and retrieval across multiple systems
- You will write clean, efficient code that follows best practices and integrates with existing infrastructure
What you'll work on
- Building robust backend applications and microservices
- Designing and optimizing database queries for both SQL and NoSQL systems
- Creating and consuming REST APIs to enable communication between services
- Debugging and troubleshooting complex issues in production and development environments
What we're looking for
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and how to apply them in practice
- Demonstrated ability to work with common data structures and write algorithms that solve real problems
- Experience querying and managing data in SQL databases, and familiarity with NoSQL alternatives
- Comfort building and integrating with REST APIs in backend systems
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration
- Strong command of Python for backend development tasks
