Database Developer - Trainee

About the role: - Develop and maintain database systems under mentor guidance, working with SQL and relational database platforms - Write and optimize database queries including JOINs, subqueries, GROUP BY, and aggregate functions - Design and implement database structures, tables, relationships, and keys following normalization principles - Perform query analysis and implement indexing strategies to enhance system performance - Support the creation and management of stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers - Troubleshoot database issues and apply debugging techniques to resolve technical problems What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field - Working knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server - Understanding of relational database concepts including table design, primary and foreign keys, and normalization - Ability to construct and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries with advanced clauses - Familiarity with database management tools and Git for version control - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities - Clear communication skills and genuine interest in expanding your technical expertise - Freshers and recent graduates are welcome to apply Good to know: - Knowledge of stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers is beneficial - Understanding of query optimization and database indexing concepts strengthens your application
