Java Developer - Trainee

About this role

About the role: - Develop and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring Boot framework - Design and implement database interactions through Hibernate and JPA technologies - Write and optimize SQL queries for PostgreSQL databases - Build REST APIs to support web service functionality - Debug code issues and solve technical problems systematically - Manage project dependencies and build automation with Maven - Collaborate with the team using Git for version control and code management What you'll work on: - Object-oriented design and CRUD operation implementation - Exception handling and robust error management in applications - Multithreaded programming for concurrent execution - Database schema design and SQL fundamentals - JDBC connectivity for direct database communication - Collections Framework for efficient data structure usage - RESTful service development for client-server communication What we're looking for: - Strong grasp of Core Java and object-oriented programming principles - Understanding of Collections Framework and memory management - Knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate ecosystems - Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases - Familiarity with Maven build tools and dependency management - Experience with Git-based version control workflows - Capability to debug problems and think through solutions logically - Competence in JDBC for database layer programming - Ability to design and consume REST APIs Eligibility: - Completed Java and Spring Boot training courses with solid foundational knowledge
