Batch: 2027/2028. About the role: - You'll take on genuine engineering work alongside experienced teams within Graphcore - Contribute to system-on-chip design, verification, validation, bring-up and characterisation across the company - Develop, test, debug and validate engineering solutions that move projects forward - Create tools and workflows that streamline how the engineering team works - Investigate technical challenges and present your findings to colleagues - Work across multiple teams and locations, learning how silicon design comes together in a real environment - Build hands-on knowledge of design methodologies, verification approaches, validation techniques and industry-standard EDA tools used in the field What we're looking for: - You're pursuing a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field - Proficiency in C, C++ or Python and TCL demonstrated through coursework, personal projects, previous internships or professional experience - A genuine interest in digital design, ASICs, verification, physical design, computer architecture or AI compute - Strong drive to master modern silicon design techniques and the tools professionals use - Excellent problem-solving ability with a collaborative mindset and clear communication style - A natural curiosity combined with the confidence to own your work and the hunger to develop your skills rather than expecting to arrive fully formed
