About the role: - Lead complete software engineering workflows, from initial problem exploration through production deployment and ongoing system maintenance - Develop and release product capabilities quickly, then refine them based on real-world use and feedback - Take full responsibility for how your code performs, stays secure, scales reliably, and handles load - Partner with product and business teams to convert requirements into streamlined, expandable solutions - Continuously identify bottlenecks, fix issues, and enhance overall platform quality What you'll work on: - Designing system architectures that support growth without technical debt - Shipping features end-to-end across your domain of ownership - Making independent technical calls and standing behind them - Balancing speed with maintainability in a fast-moving environment - Performance tuning and security hardening of platform components What we're looking for: - Someone who builds things, rather than executing predetermined tasks - Comfort owning a feature across its full lifecycle—from concept through scale - Ability to make sound technical decisions without constant guidance and accept responsibility for the outcomes - Skill at working in unclear situations, finding answers, and moving forward without detailed playbooks - Focus on the user experience and product value alongside code quality - Desire to own the full technical stack of an expanding startup, not just isolated modules Not a fit: - Roles that confine you to narrow portions of the technology stack - Situations requiring extensive detailed specifications before development begins
