About this role

About the role: - Support data analytics and reporting initiatives across Greif's operations, working with real datasets and analytical frameworks - Assist in database querying, data cleaning, and preparation of datasets for analysis - Help build and maintain dashboards and reports that inform business decisions - Contribute to exploratory data analysis projects and document insights for stakeholders What we're looking for: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related discipline - Foundational grasp of databases, SQL, data analysis methods, programming fundamentals, or AI concepts - Hands-on or academic exposure to Python, Power BI or similar data visualization tools, cloud data platforms, data engineering principles, machine learning, or generative AI - Based in or near Chennai with the ability to work on-site at our Greif Chennai office - Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving ability - Self-directed learner who takes initiative and shows intellectual curiosity - Comfortable picking up new technologies and understanding how business processes connect to data - Clear communicator in both writing and conversation - Collaborative approach to working with colleagues across teams
