About the role: - Design and develop scalable web applications that handle growth and increased traffic - Create responsive, accessible frontend interfaces that work smoothly across devices - Build secure backend services and REST APIs that power financial operations - Integrate external APIs, payment processing systems, and fintech platforms into your applications - Ensure application performance through optimization, monitoring, and scalability improvements - Work with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions - Maintain code quality through regular reviews and adherence to best practices - Debug production issues and keep systems stable and performant - Manage deployments using CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows What we're looking for: - Strong command of React.js and Next.js for frontend development - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for type-safe code - Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap - Experience managing state with Redux or Context API - Backend expertise using Node.js and Express.js or NestJS - Ability to design and implement REST APIs and microservices architecture - Knowledge of authentication standards including JWT and OAuth - Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB - Practical skills with Git for version control and Docker for containerization - Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and deployment practices - Understanding of Linux environments and command-line workflows Good to have: - Background in fintech, lending, banking, or experience integrating payment gateways
